Guess what, readers?

We made it — MSP Expo is just a day away!

Part of the ITEXPO #TECHSUPERSHOW experience from February 13-15 (taking place at the Broward County Convention Center in Fort Lauderdale, Florida), MSP Expo 2024 attendees will have the chance to absorb great information from a variety of engaging networking events, panel discussions, and other must-see sessions. (Plus, the show’s robust exhibit hall with plenty of innovations to see and interact with, as well as the awesome teams behind them.)

Speaking of the goings-on in the exhibit hall, at booth #260 will be the team behind the RMM-centric solutions at ManageEngine, the enterprise IT management division of Zoho Corporation.

And ahead of MSP Expo, we got the delightful chance to hear from Rajesh Ranganathan, ManageEngine’s Director of Product Management:

What recent innovations in your products or services are particularly relevant for MSPs today?

To address the evolving demands of the MSP industry, we’ve introduced a unified remote monitoring and management (RMM) solution. With the release of this homegrown RMM solution, our primary focus has been to consolidate the management and monitoring of a diverse array of devices — ranging from endpoints to servers and networking devices — within a single console.

This strategic move is designed to enhance operational efficiency, providing MSPs with a comprehensive tool set.

We have also provided scope to integrate our homegrown professional services automation (PSA) module with our RMM solution. These service desk capabilities mark a significant leap forward, allowing MSPs to seamlessly intertwine business management with RMM within a single, cohesive view. This synergy ensures that MSPs can navigate complex workflows effortlessly, fostering a more integrated approach to service delivery.

In response to the pressing need for robust cybersecurity tools, we have provided SIEM solutions, available both on-premises and in the cloud. This past year has seen a heightened focus on cybersecurity for MSPs and MSSPs, laying the foundation for a more secure digital landscape.

Looking ahead, our commitment to cybersecurity will take a step further with the upcoming enhancement of our endpoint security offerings. We recognize the critical role that endpoint security plays in safeguarding client environments, and our advancements in this area aim to provide MSPs with cutting-edge tools to combat emerging threats effectively.

Furthermore, our roadmap for the future is characterized by a dedicated effort to bring all layers of IT management for MSPs under a single console. As we continue to evolve, our software capabilities will be optimized for the cloud, with an understanding of the industry's shift towards SaaS solutions. This will ensure that MSPs can harness the full potential of our solutions with flexibility and scalability.

Describe your company's role in the MSP ecosystem and how your company supports MSPs?

In the realm of MSP IT management, we see four key pillars:

  • Remote Monitoring and Management
  • Business Management
  • Cybersecurity Management
  • Reporting and Analytics Management

Understanding these pillars and clients’ ever-growing needs, MSPs now seek an all-encompassing platform that can seamlessly integrate these pillars.

So, we have adapted and expanded our portfolio to meet the unique needs of MSPs, recognizing the distinctive challenges posed to this rapidly growing market. Our commitment lies in directing our research and development efforts towards creating a unified platform that not only meets but exceeds the expectations of MSPs. We aspire to provide a solution that streamlines operations, boosts efficiency, and empowers MSPs to deliver exceptional services to their clients.

Recognizing the apprehensions MSPs may have when transitioning to new software vendors, we have prioritized offering robust support for integrations with existing tools. This approach ensures a smooth and secure transition, mitigating the risks associated with data loss or configuration disruptions.

As the MSP landscape shifts, ManageEngine stands as a dependable partner, ready to empower MSPs of all sizes. Our holistic approach to IT management — coupled with a focus on integration and adaptability — positions ManageEngine as the catalyst for MSPs looking to navigate the future far more confidently.

MSPs will be able to manage client IT environments seamlessly, streamlining processes and reducing operational complexities. This integrated approach ensures a holistic view of client infrastructure, enabling MSPs to deliver more proactive and efficient services.

Cloud-Focused Modules: Recognizing the growing importance of cloud services, we have developed specialized modules with a strong emphasis on cloud management. These modules facilitate easier deployment, monitoring, and optimization of cloud resources, empowering MSPs to navigate the complexities of cloud environments on behalf of their clients.

Simplified Integration Framework: In response to the diverse software landscape within the MSP community, we have supported easy integration with other MSP software vendors. This allows seamless connectivity and collaboration with other MSP software solutions, fostering an ecosystem where our products can work harmoniously with existing tools.
