Cyemptive Jumpstarts Growth Along East Coast

By Greg Tavarez

The evolution of technology sees no stopping point, whether they come in the form of new hardware, operating systems or processes. One thing is certain. Those new technologies do come with an unwelcomed friend, vulnerabilities, if the right security measurements are not taken.

Of course, it is naïve to believe any one organization is completely secure, but organizations can get pretty close with cybersecurity solutions that protect computing environments before or immediately following a compromise, such as those offered by Cyemptive.

Cybersecurity company Cyemptive handles threat elimination by keeping systems in known and predictable states while constantly and automatically removing threats. OK, sure, many cybersecurity companies say the same thing to where it is cliché. What differentiates itself from the competition is that Cyemptive’s patented technologies protect against known and unknown zero-day attacks, including hardware-based compromises.

More than 130 customers worldwide utilize Cyemptive’s solutions. Those solutions are making their way to a new regional office in Wilson, North Carolina, as part of the company’s growing East Coast customer base.

The new office not only brings in new jobs to the area, but it also expands Cyemptive’s data center and security operations technology capabilities for its government and private sector contract opportunities in the region.

The business expansion is part of a set of strategic actions, including building infrastructure, the company is taking to position itself for its next level of growth.

“Cyemptive selected the city of Wilson due to the favorable business environment of the area,” said Rob Pike, Cyemptive founder.

Pike is the one leading the expansion and overseeing the opening and implementation. Assisting him is Gary Zelanko, Cyemptive chief information security officer.
