TriCore Hosted Oracle EBS Services Offered via ArrowSphere

By Laura Stotler

It’s all about channel partnerships in the world of managed and cloud services, and cloud platform provider Arrow Electronics has just expanded its partner base. The company has teamed up with TriCore Solutions, a provider of application management services, to offer Oracle EBS services through its ArrowSphere channel marketplace.

Arrow is providing TriCore hosted Oracle EBS Application Management services to MSPs throughout North America through the channel partnership. Providers will be able to resell the TriCore Oracle EBS and Database Services on a standalone basis or as a package offering bundled with other services via ArrowSphere. Services are easily bundled and marketed since the ArrowSphere cloud services platform centralizes billing and provisioning for providers.

MSPs participating in ArrowSphere will also be able to access the TriCore Oracle Application Management suite of services. These include functional support for applications as well as database tuning, cloud hosting and lifecycle management. TriCore also offers consulting services in support of implementations, upgrades and customizations.

"Through TriCore's managed services, customers gain access through their solution providers to best-in-class agile infrastructure, as well as the increased ability to efficiently manage IT costs and deliver improved service levels to their constituents," said Dee Dee Lear, vice president for North American enterprise computing solutions at Arrow.

Arrow announced another major partnership last month, and the company is distributing cloud infrastructure services from IBM company SoftLayer throughout the U.S., Canada, Europe, the Middle East and Africa. SoftLayer cloud infrastructure solutions help customers aggregate bare metal and virtual services on one platform.

Earlier in the year, Arrow announced it had added the VMware vCloud Hybrid Service to ArrowSphere. The offering provides automated replication, monitoring and high availability of applications without the need for code changes, enabling service providers to leverage their existing investments and lower their total cost of ownership.
