Ciber Managed Services Supporting SAP Applications for TALLY WEiJL

International fashion retailer TALLY WEiJL has selected Ciber Managed Services to manage its SAP applications and solution environment. Ciber will support a number of SAP solutions through the deal, which spans the company’s network of 800 stores in 37 countries.

Ciber will oversee TALLY WEiJL’s SAP ERP applications through the arrangement, which are used for financial accounting, controlling, sales and distribution. The MSP will also manage the SAP NetWeaver Process Integration solution and the SAP Business Warehouse application.

According to Sylvain Coquio, CIO for TALLY WEiJL, the company had been previously managing all its SAP applications in-house and had already achieved productivity gains. They decided to move to a managed services arrangement to reduce staff as well as operations and maintenance expenses without cutting out the quality of end-user support.

"We chose Ciber Managed Services because we anticipate more control over our system operating expenses while gaining quick response on issue resolution," said Coquio. The company manages most of its business processes using SAP applications, making the decision to switch to a managed services model a critical one.
