MSP NaviSite is now offering a fully managed web application firewall (WAF) service as part of its Alert Logic portfolio of security solutions. The Web Security Manager is being offered as one of the many software-as-a-service (SaaS) solutions the company provides through Alert Logic.
For Time Warner Cable Company NaviSite, providing fully monitored and managed enterprise-class security services to customers is a priority. The company has a longstanding partnership with Alert Logic to deliver security solutions via a SaaS model, without any capital investment required and for a low monthly fee.
The partnership between the two companies provides access to Alert Logic’s data centers along with NaviSite’s technical experts. The Alert Logic services are integrated with NaviSite’s hosted and cloud environments and delivered through an offering that is customized to meet the needs of individual clients.

NaviSite is the latest MSP to implement Alert Logic offerings into its portfolio. Last month, MSP Venyu announced it was embedding data protection from Alert Logic through integrated delivery of intrusion detection and log management. The move helps Venyu enhance its cloud security practices while adding valuable new features to its offerings.
