CoreDial CEO Alan Rihm Joins Cloud Communications Alliance Board

By Erik Linask

For the past 15 years, CoreDial CEO Alan Rihm has been focused on building a cloud-based communications platform and a partner community to deliver it to businesses.  As he recently told Rich Tehrani at MSP Expo in Florida, while the company continues to invest in its technology, its biggest focus is its partner community and making sure those partners are able to bring a robust cloud, complete communications solution to market quickly.  That includes both its UCaaS and CCaaS solutions, which are part of its CoreNexa platform.

“Of course, we balance features and functions and technology, but our hyperfocus is partner engagement and how we can help them with customer engagement,” Rihm said.  “I’m very interested in things like video, collaboration, Huddle rooms and conference rooms, but really it’s about how I help my partners succeed – that’s what we’ve been doing for a long time.”

The company spent considerable effort integrating the contact center technology it acquired through its Voice4Net purchase back in 2018.  To set its partners up for success, it followed that up by creating a comprehensive CCaaS certification program for its partners, recognizing the complexity involved with deploying a contact center platform.

More than 800 partners and 27,000 businesses using the CoreNexa solutions are a testament to Rihm’s dedication to its channel, and his track record growing CoreDial was a key factor in the Cloud Communcations Alliance naming him to its Board of Directors.

“Alan’s vision, leadership, and business acumen has been the driving force behind CoreDial’s evolution into one of the most successful providers in our industry,” said CCA Chairman Clark Peterson.  “We are confident that Alan’s expertise and insights will benefit the CCA member companies in the markets they serve.”

Rihm’s role will focus on helping the organization’s leadership and advisors drive its vision and execution strategies to serve the needs of cloud communications providers worldwide.

In today’s environment, where businesses productivity and continuity relies on the flexibility and reliability of their communications technologies, cloud-based solutions are becoming more important than ever.  The current global pandemic that has millions of companies rapidly adopting remote work strategies has truly put cloud communications in the spotlight.

“The CCA is the voice of our community,” Rihm said.  “The purpose is to share best practices and help us have a voice with the FCC – we all want to stop things like robocalling.”

Among those best practices is the focus Rihm and CoreDial have placed on enabling partners to be able to quickly deploy solutions for their customers, ensuring those businesses are able to continue to operate efficiently, under any conditions.
