Astute Networks, Inc. is putting increased emphasis on the channel with a number of new enhancements to its AstuteNET Program. The company’s channel program lets partners, including MSPs, VARs and system integrators, better capitalize on opportunities within the all-flash storage market.
Astute is a provider of Networked Flash appliances, which produce high input/output rates per second (IOPs) compared to hard disk systems. The company’s all-flash solid-state storage appliance offers a number of benefits to service providers, including increased performance of databases, virtualized applications and virtual desktops as well as the ability to co-exist and complement existing SAN storage.
The enhanced program gives Astute’s channel partners a variety of resources designed to help them increase their profit margins and better serve their customers. Benefits include early access and input into Astute beta releases and product roadmaps as well as increased training and sales and marketing support. Astute is also providing expanded programs for demand creation and lead referral and offers loyalty rewards to valued partners. The company also allocates a dedicated program manager to each partner to ensure a successful, mutually beneficial relationship.
"Bottom line, AstuteNET ensures our strategic channel partners will be able to solve their end user clients' toughest I/O performance challenges and consequently, meet existing requirements, support agile response to new business opportunities, and increase competitive advantage," said Miharu Gold, director, channel sales, Astute Networks.
According to IDC, the global all-solid state storage array market is set to reach $1.2 billion in revenues by 2015, driven by market expansion and developments of all-flash storage arrays. The research firm believes marketplace advances validate “pent-up” demand for storage performance and accelerating applications, provided they come in at the right price point.
MSP Awdata is one company that is taking advantage of Astute’s expanded channel partner benefits. "We have found after careful assessment, that the Astute Networks ViSX delivers an unmatched solution for achieving lightning fast I/O application performance, while also actually lowering overall IT costs," said Traci Weston, CEO of Awdata.
Astute has a number of channel partners lined up to take advantage of its expanded program, including Coast Computer Products, E-Safe Technologies, Media Supply, Netfast Technology Solutions, NORLEM and Storage-IT Solutions. The companies cite productivity boosts, improved efficiencies, predictable performance and business growth as key benefits of the AstuteNET Program.
