MSP One Source Networks and CITIC Expand Partnership to Better Serve Customers in U.S. and Greater China

An expanded partnership for delivering managed services and connectivity to customers in the U.S. as well as the greater China region has been unveiled. MSP and cloud provider One Source Networks (OSN) has teamed up with CITIC Telecom International CPC Limited to deliver the services.

CITIC has been working with OSN for two years to provide managed services in greater China and Asia, and sought a reciprocal relationship to support its customers’ networking requirements within the U.S. OSN, which specializes in providing high-quality services at affordable prices, was an obvious choice.

APAC service provider CITIC will interconnect with OSN through an NNI in Los Angeles, enabling the MSP to offer data services to its Asian customers doing business in the U.S. Services will include Layer 2 and Layer 3 VPN solutions. OSN will also be able to offer managed services to its enterprise customers in greater China through the expanded partnership. The service provider has been recently focused on expanding its networks, with new PoPs in London, Bogota, New York and Los Angeles providing interconnections with regional carriers to enable better support for high-bandwidth apps.

"As our customers continue to expand globally, it is critical to our business, as well as theirs, that we continue to deliver the consistent, high-performance connectivity that our customers have come to expect," said Stephen Ho, CEO, CITIC Telecom CPC.

CITIC also offers the TrueCONNECT MPLS VPN service, one of a growing number of CloudMPLS offerings. The service is designed to use CITIC’s infrastructure and expertise to handle point-to-point and site-to-site connectivity for global enterprises. It is offered along with the company’s SmartCLOUD portfolio of cloud computing solutions. Service provider RapidScale recently announced key partnerships with NetWolves and Masergy to utilize CloudMPLS to deliver its hosted desktop and business application solutions.

"This relationship has been tremendously beneficial for customers of both CITIC Telecom CPC and One Source Networks," said Ernest Cunningham, CEO, One Source Networks. "One of our core initiatives at OSN is to provide our customers with a full range of communications services, without the complexity and cost of working with multiple providers. By partnering with CITIC Telecom CPC, we have been able to provide our enterprise customers with a suite of IT capabilities across Greater China and the U.S., backed by the peace of mind of working with a single provider."
