FusionStorm Named Dell SMB Business Partner of the Year

By Laura Stotler

Managed service provider (MSP) FusionStorm has been named a winner in Dell’s PartnerDirect Partner of the Year Awards for channel program participants. The company was honored for the second year in a row based on its dedicated use of Dell technologies to offer managed services to their customers.

FusionStorm was chosen as SMB Business Partner of the Year from a group of nominees participating in the PartnerDirect program, which is designed to reward partners for their Dell investments by helping them drive business growth. The program provides companies like FusionStorm with a number of resources, including rewards for education and training rebates.

The MSP offers customer cloud and managed services including system infrastructure, IP communications, storage and networking solutions. Additional offerings include disaster recovery, security and database solutions offered at customer premises as well as through FusionStorms’ national data centers.

“I think it demonstrates our company’s commitment to helping customers reach their business goals using Dell’s many technologies,” said Mike Souza, FusionStorm’s senior vice president of sales and marketing, of the Dell award. “We also feel we’ve been a catalyst and help to Dell as they continue their metamorphosis into a full-fledged, channel-focused, manufacturer. It clearly has been a mutually beneficial relationship, and we look forward to expanding our relationship even further in the coming fiscal year.”

Additional benefits of the Dell PartnerDirect program include marketing and technical assistance, expanded deal registration terms and a variety of financial incentives. Dell also helps partners gain expertise and hardware, software and services that are designed to help eliminate IT complexities for the company’s customers.

Other winners of Dell’s PartnerDirect Business Partner of the Year awards include Sterling Computers as federal partner, PC Connection as healthcare partner, Forsythe Technology as software partner and Winslow Technology Group as enterprise partner.
