Enhance Threat Defense with ePlus' New Detection and Response Guidance Service

By Greg Tavarez

The managed detection and response market is expected to register a CAGR of 18.1% from 2021 to 2030 and revenue is projected to increase from $4.9 billion in 2021 to $21.93 billion in 2030, according to Emergen Research.

Still, with numerous reputable MDR service providers in the market, there is a strong emphasis on continuous improvement. This basically means that providers are constantly refining their tools, techniques and knowledge to combat emerging threats, especially as those threats become more sophisticated.

Technology solutions provider ePlus understands this. So, as a response, the company announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, ePlus Technology, launched its Threat Detection and Response Guidance, or TDR-Guidance, Service for customers of its MDR services.

TDR-Guidance is specifically tailored to enhance the effectiveness of MDR services and provides ePlus MDR service customers with strategic and tactical guidance, equipping them with the necessary skills, advice and practices to optimize their threat response and remediation efforts.

Customers who choose TDR-Guidance benefit from the combined support and expertise of various ePlus resources. There is a dedicated customer experience resource that works closely with customers to ensure a seamless integration of ePlus MDR and TDR-Guidance services. This resource focuses on maximizing the benefits of each solution, assisting customers in achieving their desired outcomes.

A technical security consultant plays a vital role in guiding customers through the remediation process. These consultants possess a deep understanding of information security incidents and provide insights and technical expertise. They address and resolve security incidents escalated from the ePlus MDR service provider, assisting customers in effectively mitigating risks.

Additionally, a senior security consultant, with their extensive experience and industry knowledge, serves as an adviser to customers. They work closely with organizations to enhance the overall effectiveness and success of ePlus MDR services. These consultants provide strategic guidance, optimizing security practices and ensuring customers derive maximum value from the offerings of the MDR provider.

"To maximize success, MDR services require continuous improvement and continuous engagement on the part of the customer," said Lee Waskevich, Vice President of Security Strategy for ePlus. "Ignoring these needs leaves a customer with an ever-increasing security risk exposure and an ever-decreasing value from the MDR service. By combining ePlus MDR partners with TDR-Guidance advisory services, we help to address these challenges."

Through the comprehensive support of the TDR-Guidance service, ePlus customers can strengthen their security capabilities, streamline remediation efforts and extract the maximum benefits from ePlus MDR services.
