Malwarebytes Enhances MSP Platform with Mobile Security, Boosting Profitability and Growth for Partners

By Stefania Viscusi

Malwarebytes has announced the launch of Malwarebytes Mobile Security for OneView.  This latest release is focused on helping MSPs to safeguard Chromebooks and mobile devices from all the latest mobile threats.

"Nearly half (45%) of organizations have been subject to a security incident involving a phone or tablet that led to data loss, downtime or another negative outcome," said Brian Thomas, Vice President of Worldwide MSP and Channel Programs, Malwarebytes.

As mobile device users face increasing threats like ransomware and malicious apps, Malwarebytes has introduced a solution so MSPs can monitor customers' mobile devices, servers, workstations, and laptops in real-time. This comprehensive protection helps prevent accidental access to harmful websites, defends against malicious apps, blocks unwanted in-app ads, and ensures a secure mobile experience for customers.

"MSPs are in a prime position to both help their customers secure mobile devices, while also boosting their growth and profitability by offering a streamlined and effective solution. It's a win-win situation for our partners," said Thomas.

Malwarebytes OneView platform is purpose-built for MSPs and provides a way to streamline and simplify cybersecurity management tasks. Using OneView, it’s possible to deploy, configure, and update Malwarebytes security solutions across their client base. They can perform scans, manage policies, and receive alerts and reports all from a single dashboard.

In a recent evaluation by MRG Effitas, an independent IT research firm, Malwarebytes Endpoint Protection (EP) received the highest score for antivirus efficacy. This marks the sixth consecutive quarter of achieving a perfect score. The test results from Q4 2022 demonstrated that Malwarebytes outperformed other solutions in detecting and blocking various threats, including zero-day threats, ransomware, banking malware, fileless attacks, and exploits.
