Seamless Communication Made Easy with Ooma Office Advanced Features

  • Call Screening: An essential tool for avoiding unwanted distractions and combating robocalls. Call Screening greets incoming callers, prompting them to record their name. The recipient's phone then rings with an automated message and playback of the recorded name, enabling them to decide whether to accept or reject the call.
  • Distinctive Ringtones: Assigning unique ringtones to specific business groups allows for instant identification of incoming calls, such as sales or customer service calls. This feature helps streamline call routing and improves response time.
  • Call Deflection to Text: When the Ooma Office Virtual Receptionist answers a call, this capability offers the option to send the caller a pre-written text message. It enables businesses to provide quick information or initiate text-based support interactions.
  • Call Leaderboard: Managers supervising call center operations can now access a leaderboard displaying comprehensive call statistics for each team member. This feature provides valuable insights into call volumes, average durations and more, facilitating performance monitoring and optimization.
  • Faxing from the Mobile App: Ooma Office's mobile app now allows users to send faxes directly from their smartphones. This feature enhances mobility and enables users to manage document transmission conveniently.

"The new capabilities we announced are intended to make Ooma Office even more valuable by providing additional tools for efficiently managing phone calls, texts, faxes and videoconferences," said Dennis Peng, Ooma's vice president of product management.

These additions, available across various Ooma Office service plans, expand the system's capabilities without additional cost to customers. Plans are Ooma Office Essentials at $19.95 per user per month, Ooma Office Pro at $24.95 per user and Ooma Office Pro Plus at $29.95 per user.
