Ingram Micro Listens to Channel Partners and Enhances its Cloud Marketplaces

By Greg Tavarez

Ingram Micro, a global Microsoft distribution partner, serves almost 25,000 partners in more than 30 countries. Channel partners look to Ingram Micro to help establish, expand, and grow their Microsoft business.

The likes of Rodin Business Solutions in Australia, Micro Logic in Canada, and Stargate Connections in Canada are all supported by Ingram Micro; whether it's by growing the business in Microsoft solutions and network security, or impacting yearly sales growth.

Ingram Micro clearly impacts its channel partners in a positive way. Having heard what its support means to channel partners and what they can do to be even better, Ingram Micro truly listened and announced a series of enhancements to its Cloud Marketplaces globally around Microsoft Azure and New Commerce Experience, or NCE.

The new Microsoft enhancements added (and the ones coming soon) to the Ingram Micro Cloud Marketplace include:

  • Azure usage billing reports: This enhancement saves channel partners time on reconciling billing with accurate cost visibility, self-run periodic reports, and real-time billing projection.
  • NCE billing enhancements: New and coming-soon Microsoft NCE billing configurations make it easier for channel partners to schedule, co-term and automate their subscription commitments.
  • Advanced NCE automation features: This brings real-time, on-demand visibility to NCE promotions so channel partners can activate new business faster, streamline purchasing, and deliver a better experience to their teams and customers.

“With these new and expanding Microsoft-centric capabilities and integrations, we are giving our channel partners what they asked for – solving for complexity by enabling them to work within the Ingram Micro Cloud Marketplace to land, manage and expand their Microsoft business faster and easier,” said Victor Baez, Senior Vice President, Cloud, Ingram Micro.

With greater, real-time visibility into Microsoft Azure billing and new Microsoft NCE billing configurations to help simplify and speed subscription management, Ingram Micro shows its commitment to its channel partners in their journey of adopting Microsoft Azure and Microsoft NCE.

Ingram Micro is a Platinum sponsor at MSP Expo in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, Feb. 14-17, 2023. MSP Expo is part of the #TECHSUPERSHOW, which includes nearly a dozen collocated business technology events that bring buyers, users, sellers and partners together under one roof to educate and build business relationships around the technologies driving business success today. Ingram Micro will be in Booth #407 in the exhibit hall.
