Pax8 recently announced the promotion of Caroline Goles to the role ofCMO.

Goles joined Pax8 in January 2022 as Corporate Vice President of Sales Strategy, and her success over the last year is evident given the growth of Pax8 as one of the largest, fastest-growing B2B cloud marketplaces and its annual recurring revenue topping $1 billion.

With over 15 years of sales and marketing experience in the tech industry, Goles has enjoyed a diverse career, with a central focus on building go-to-market strategies that drive global scale and connected marketing and sales systems.

“My years of global experiences afforded me an understanding of diverse markets and the importance of balancing global scale with the local expertise to deliver well for all markets,” Goles said.

As Corporate Vice President of Sales Strategy for Pax8, she led efforts to build scale, increase efficiencies, and accelerate global growth by delivering connected marketing and sales motions, innovating sales methodologies, and activating data for Pax8’s sales teams and partners.

“I have a passion for accelerating sales success by creating insights and action from troves of disparate data and empowering sales teams to craft success for their customers,” Goles said, noting that her years abroad fortified her passion for technology empowerment and reducing the digital divide for all.

“Access to the digital world unlocks education and opportunity, and there are still 55 million people in the U.S. alone without reliable access to a computer,” she said.

Other passions include a lifelong commitment to environmental sustainability and the preservation of oceans and wild spaces.

In the CMO role, Goles will lead the planning, development, and execution of Pax8’s global marketing vision and strategy, including the Channel event strategy, education, and enablement. She will continue to report to Nick Heddy, Pax8 Chief Commerce Officer.

“Caroline’s expertise in sales and marketing, and creative influence and advocacy for innovation has been stellar as she led our sales teams through a new partner value framework this past year,” said John Street, Chief Executive Officer at Pax8. “I am thrilled to have Caroline in this new role to create a comprehensive marketing blueprint that supports our business growth and helps us deliver a world-class partner experience.”

With more than 15 years of channel, sales, and marketing experience in the tech industry, Goles’ diverse career includes roles with Adobe and a 13-year tenure with Microsoft. During her time as CVP of Sales for Pax8, she was charged with delivering scale and digital automation to accelerate Pax8’s revenue growth with innovative sales strategies.

“As Pax8’s CMO, I have the incredible opportunity to work with our talented leaders across channel and marketing to support our partners,” said Goles. “Now more than ever, it is critical for us to continue to listen well and innovate to enable our partners to thrive in what could be a challenging economic environment. I am excited to support the organization in my new role, continuing the great work these teams are doing and developing new ways to drive growth for partners through education, support, sales, and marketing services.”
