MSPs Receive Benefits Through Dell Expert Network

By Greg Tavarez

Businesses of all sizes face potential IT issues, and managed service providers can step in to help the business handle various tasks to protect, upgrade and monitor their IT infrastructure and network.

To help IT consultants and MSPs that want to simplify the purchasing and reselling of Dell equipment, Dell is offering its Dell Expert Network program, a support and relationship program. The program lets MSPs easily recommend Dell products to their clients and purchase directly from Dell via the program.

I had a chance to speak to Lucas Chaya del Pino, Head of Dell Expert Network, at MSP Expo 2022 in Ft. Lauderdale.  He outlined many of the details and benefits of the Dell Expert Network program.

Dell Expert Network program members will have an IT account manager, a single point of contact, for all clients’ needs. The specialist is 100% dedicated to helping size projects and give clients access to the best deals and promotions available at the time.

Members will have access to two tools, TechDirect and Live Optics.

TechDirect, recommended for members with multiple clients, will give members an in-depth view of reporting broken down per client. TechDirect will allow Dell Expert Network members to log IT tickets, order spare parts and report when services will end on a client’s computers.

Live Optics will provide a free tool for members to collect, visualize and share configuration and performance requirements for IT related activities. Live Optics is vendor agnostic.

Dell Expert Network members will also have access to paid training to receive Dell certificates, as well as access to free webinars to help ITC/MSPs stay ahead, including getting advance looks at new Dell products. During these webinars, product experts will be available to answer questions and assist members.

Another perk to being a part of the Dell Expert Network program is Dell Rewards. Members can receive up to 3% back in rewards after each purchase to use toward future purchases on Dell.com. Members can potentially receive up to 6% back in rewards when they select four-plus years of ProSupport or ProSupport Plus. Reward members also qualify for free expedited deliver.

The Dell Expert Network program brings various advantages for MSPs and their clients through Dell’s network of technology partners, tools and resources.
