The workplace has officially moved beyond physical reality. It’s more of a common cyberspace where employees can communicate, collaborate, share, create and manage. Already on an upward trend, digital workplaces received a rocket-boost of innovation when the COVID-19 pandemic shut down many workplaces. When this happened, many companies learned the limits of their digital workplace technologies.
This week, managed services provider and IT solutions company Logicalis announced the launch of its digital workplace solution to help organizations manage, measure, and scale the collaboration experience for the digital workplace. The company believes balancing empowerment with productivity is the key to collaboration effectiveness, particularly as older workers transition out of the workplace and younger workers step up.
"The way we work has changed, age demographics have shifted, values are evolving and 41 percent of millennials say they are stressed most of the time, a group that will account for half the workforce by 2025,” said Logicalis Group Chief Operating Officer Michael Chanter in a statement. “We can't keep extracting additional productivity from our people, something must give. We believe employee empowerment supported and measured by the right collaboration tools is the key to creating a digital workplace fit for a digital generation."
The past two years of working through the pandemic has taught many companies the lessons they will need to succeed in the future.
"What we've learned over the last two years is that we need to become better," said Logicalis US CEO Jon Groves. "But it's less about working more and more about working more effectively. And that means leveraging the digital tools available to us to become more effective collaborators."
The Logicalis Collaboration suite, built on Cisco and Microsoft technologies and delivered as a managed service, helps organizations scale the digital collaboration experience. The Logicalis Collaboration suite is the first of three solutions under a new global Digital Workplace Center of Excellence, according to the company. The subsequent releases will focus on the employee experience and employee innovation.
To learn more about how managed service providers can help companies implement effective digital workplace solutions, plan to attend MSPEXPO, part of the #TECHSUPERSHOW series. MSPEXPO has been designed to help service providers understand how they can drive more recurring revenue, increase the valuation of their companies, grow, and protect their networks and deliver better customer service. It will also help companies looking for MSP partners to understand how MSPs can help them grow. The show will take place from June 21-24, 2022, at the Broward County Convention Center in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. For more information or to register, visit the show website.
