Valeo Acquires Etech, Adds Midwest Presence

Valeo Acquires Etech, Adds Midwest Presence

By Luke Bellos

Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP), Valeo Networks announced the acquisition of Etech Solutions, an Iowa-based Managed Service Provider (MSP). The purchase should come as no shock, as consolidation seems the norm in the MSP space to address growing digital transformation demands.

Valeo gains augmented presence in the MIdwest region, enabling expanded access to a wider range of technical resources, network administration support, and cloud based services. The company plans to incorporate Etech’s expertise in IT solutions, spanning verticals like construction, engineering, real estate, healthcare, and legal. The MSSP also intends to change the Etech Solution and EtechASP brands to DBA Valeo Networks companies, and will keep Etech’s headquarters in Ankeny, IA.

"After 20 years in business, we are thrilled to have the opportunity to join the Valeo Networks family," said Brian Sult, CEO/President, Etech Solutions. "With the additional financial and technical resources that Valeo Networks delivers, Etech will be able to provide our customers with enhanced IT service capabilities and advanced cybersecurity solutions."

The announcement marks the fourth acquisition for Valeo in the past year, giving the company one of the highest revenue streams in MSSPs nationwide. The trend could lead to further expansion, allowing uniform coverage in almost any location over time.

"As we continue to execute on our nationwide growth strategy, working with prominent companies like Etech Solutions will help us achieve that goal," said Travis Mack, CEO, Valeo Networks. "This acquisition establishes our first Midwest-located office, and significantly boosts our capabilities and resources in the areas of cybersecurity, managed services, cloud solutions, and network administration offerings."
