InterGrid Offers EnTelegent Solution to VARs

By Paula Bernier

InterGrid is bringing EnTelegent Solutions products to value-added resellers in the former company’s JetStream program. That provides InterGrid JetStream VARs with access to offerings from more than top-tier 50 carriers. Those offerings include cable, DSL, fiber, hosted VoIP, long-distance, SD-WAN, SIP, and WAN solutions.

JetStream helps its VARs turn up these services, and under their own brands within 120 days. It also supports them by providing VARs with engineering, marketing, sales, and operations resources and materials.

EnTelegent Solutions is an 11-year-old company out of Charlotte, N.C., that aggregates services from major carriers. It delivers services to every market in the U.S. and Canada. It provides its customers with a single invoice and portal through which to manage all their carrier connections and services.

InterGrid caters to VARs, systems integrators, and professional services firms in the U.S. It outfits them with private-labeled managed services and sales enablement offerings.

The managed services market is projected to grow from more than $152 billion last year to nearly $258 billion by 2022, due to limited IT budgets and scalability requirements, based on some estimates.

“MSPs are uniquely positioned to give support and advice to companies that are driving toward digital transformation,” says Integrated Research’s Kevin Ryder. “Most organizations today are not on a single UC platform. They’re on disparate platforms from any number of different vendors. To succeed, they need to seamlessly monitor, manage and optimize this multivendor environment.”

He adds that MSPs know how to integrate and optimize all the moving parts — the hardware, software, network components, gateways, and endpoints.

“Should organizations want a customized cloud service, MSPs can offer more flexibility than a vendor,” he adds. “The MSP can focus on managing the complexity, freeing the customer to focus on reaping the benefits.”

Futurum Research analyst Daniel Newman offers these tips on selecting an MSP. That includes ensuring the MSP helps meet business goals, delivers substantial ROI, and offers relevant SLAs.
