Tech Data to Distribute Peak 10 Cloud Services with Host of Benefits for MSPs and Channel Partners

A new cloud and managed services partnership has Tech Data Corporation distributing Peak 10’s suite of cloud and managed services powered by Cisco. The offerings are available in the U.S. through Tech Data’s TDCloud business solution via their Solutions Store.

Peak 10’s hybrid cloud offerings include pubic, private and recovery cloud solutions and are delivered through the company’s 24 IaaS facilities. The solutions provide compliance-grade security as well as performance and governance for handling rigorous production workloads. Peak 10 undergoes independent audits annually to meet clients’ unique regulatory compliance requirements.

The partnership offers a number of advantages to MSPs as they can qualify as a Cisco Cloud Services Reseller. This earns them incremental rebates for selling the Peak 10 services via Tech Data, as well as IaaS cloud-bundled advantages from Peak 10. These include engineering consultation services to help service providers better meet the needs and demands of their own customers.

Steve Harris, senior vice president of Peak 10, added that having the company’s cloud solutions available in the Tech Data Solutions Store broadens their reach and helps match their offerings to end users in need of tailored cloud offerings.

"As customers shift from premise-based to cloud-based IT, channel partners are evolving their business models for delivering cloud offerings to expand their reach, generate predictable revenue streams and improve profitability," said Bob Gault, vice president, Cloud and Managed Services Partner Organization at Cisco. "With Tech Data and Peak 10 teaming to offer Cisco Powered IaaS services, resellers have another proven source to deliver these services and help capture new revenue from the cloud opportunity."

Tech Data offers the Momentum Cisco enablement program to its channel partners, which gives them access to tools for expanding and accelerating their Cisco solutions. Partners may quickly add Cisco cloud solutions through Tech Data’s Boost initiative, which gives partners support for operations, sales, marketing and services enablement. MSPs and other partners may also join the Business Transformation Workshop, where they may learn about building out their cloud business with training on OpEx-based business models, ROI comparison tools, sales compensation and information on building their cloud practice.
