TDS Hosted & Managed Services Unites Multiple Brands and Businesses as OneNeck IT Solutions

TDS Hosted & Managed Services Unites Multiple Brands and Businesses as OneNeck IT Solutions

By Laura Stotler

The new year has hailed quite a few changes for TDS Hosted & Managed Services, LLC (TDS HMS), including a brand new name. The company is now known as OneNeck IT Solutions LLC and has a number of recently acquired companies operating under the new moniker.

OneNeck, which specializes in managed IT infrastructure including cloud and hosting solutions as well as colocation and managed services, made the decision to change its name in an effort to unite its hosted and managed service companies under one master brand. Included under the new name are VISI Inc., TEAM Technologies, LLC, OneNeck IT Services Corporation, Vital Support Systems, L.L.C. and MSN Communications, Inc. All of those companies had been acquired by TDS (Telephone and Data Systems, Inc.).

“Getting to one name was very important,” said Phil LaForge, president and CEO of OneNeck. “We were already presenting ourselves to customers and executing our projects as one team. With a unified brand, it will be easier for customers to understand what we do and how we do it, while still delivering the high-touch service they expect.”

OneNeck is striving to solidify its offerings and become a next-generation service provider offering end-to-end IT solutions. With nearly 650 employees located throughout the U.S., the company offers ERP management, professional services and IT hardware services in addition to cloud and managed services solutions. OneNeck also owns and manages four Tier 3 data centers in Iowa, Minnesota and Wisconsin, and manages two Tier 2 data centers in Arizona.

“The single brand enables us to create a simpler structure that results in less confusion by customers and employees,” added LaForge. “Plus, it allows us to develop a consistent approach to facilitate future growth and expansion while delivering the IT solutions our customers need.”

In addition to the score of acquisitions, OneNeck has been busy over the past year. Recent announcements have included partnerships with Oracle and Citrix as well as a data center colocation partnership with Symmetry Corporation. Symmetry is using OneNeck’s facilities to provide its customers with a variety of hosting, cloud and managed services.
