Happy Hump Day, readers!
As we crest this mid-week bump before the busy holiday snowfall blankets our schedules, let’s take a moment to talk about cybersecurity company Guardz.
The Guardz mission at hand — build a safer, more dynamic digital world — continues moving forward as its teams empower MSPs to succeed in the proactive securing and insuring of SMBs against bad actors’ hydra-esque threats, all while creating new revenue streams through a single unified platform. The holistic (and cost-effective) protections Guardz provides ensure that endpoints are consistently monitored, managed, and optimized to prevent attacks and mitigate future risks. (With one-click remediation, AI-driven capabilities and powerful integrations, even non-security experts can swiftly respond to cyber events.)
When we last covered Guardz, the company had just announced the launch of its new (and free) Community Shield Plan for MSPs. Read that story here.
Today, we have another Guardz-focused update that dropped earlier this morning:
Guardz has officially announced the appointment of Esther Pinto as its Chief Information Security Officer (CISO).
Pinto brings a lot to the table; a wealth of cybersecurity experience, strategic guidance, the whole kit and kaboodle. (She previously served as CISO and Head of Information Security at Anecdotes, as well as a leader of the Information Security team at AppsFlyer.)
As Guardz CEO Dor Eisner described, “Esther’s appointment as CISO marks a significant milestone for Guardz as we continue to prioritize security as the core of our mission. Her extensive background in information security, coupled with her passion for inclusion and diversity, makes her the perfect leader to guide Guardz’s security initiatives and shape the future of our security strategy. We are excited to welcome Esther to our team and are confident she will be a driving force behind our continued success.”
“Joining Guardz as CISO is a huge opportunity to shape the future of cybersecurity in an organization that's leading the charge in empowering MSPs to defend SMBs from ever-evolving cyber threats,” Pinto herself remarked. “I’m driven by the challenge of building cutting-edge security programs that not only protect but also inspire innovation, and I’m excited to be a part of the exceptional team at Guardz to fortify our operations and lead the next evolution of our security.”
