Fair Play to MicroWarehouse and its Cloud Solutions, Following its Acquisition from Sherweb

By Alex Passett

Last month, fellow MSP Today writer Greg Tavarez covered news about Sherweb, a provider of pre-vetted, full-fledged cloud management solutions for MSPs. Trusted by the likes of Microsoft, ConnectWise, Last Pass, Google, Trend Micro and Kaseya, Sherweb empowers IT professionals to develop impactful business strategies, reduce skill gaps, and streamline their operations. Read here for Tavarez’s story about Sherweb and the University of Sherbrooke committing $1.5 million to advance cybersecurity research, and read here to learn about the company expanding its availability of Veeam offerings. (Sherweb is a Gold partner in the Veeam Cloud & Service Provider, or VCSP, program.)

Today, we have another share-worthy Sherweb update for you:

Just this morning, Sherweb officially announced its acquisition of MicroWarehouse (MWH, for short). Established in 1998, MWH is proud that 26 years hasn’t dimmed its team’s focus on providing refined cloud solutions that keep work as simple for customers.

Additionally, MWH serves as one of Ireland’s leading IT product distributors, but it will reportedly still continue to operate as a local business in Ireland (i.e. maintaining its brand identity) while also benefiting from Sherweb’s extensive resources (and the skill sets of its thousands of employees worldwide, to boot).

“We’re thrilled to join the Sherweb family,” said Rory Wilson, General Manager, MWH. “This announcement is an exciting development for MicroWarehouse. By partnering with Sherweb, we will offer a broader range of products and services and identify new possibilities for growth. True to our brand, we will continue to offer world class solutions with an Irish touch to our clients.”

"We're thrilled to welcome MicroWarehouse to the Sherweb family. This latest acquisition is a significant step towards our goal of expanding our global footprint and providing new opportunities for our clients," added Matthew Cassar, Co-founder and Co-CEO, Sherweb. "MicroWarehouse's strong market presence and expertise align perfectly with our strategic objectives as we begin a new chapter at Sherweb heading into 2025. We look forward to embarking on this journey together and unlocking even more value for our respective clients and partners.”
