MSSPs Gain Revenue Opportunities with Radware's New Solution

By Greg Tavarez

MSSPs, when it comes to cybersecurity, are often seen as guardians of digital assets and protectors against cyber threats. While that does hold true, MSSPs do face a dual challenge: They must continually enhance their services to keep pace with evolving cyber risks while ensuring profitability. This delicate balance demands agility, innovation and efficiency.

Threat actors evolve their tactics, techniques and procedures, necessitating MSSPs to adapt rapidly. Whether it's combating sophisticated malware or addressing vulnerabilities in technologies like IoT or cloud computing, MSSPs must remain at the forefront of defense. Failure to do so not only exposes clients to risks but also undermines the MSSP's reputation and viability in the market.

Simultaneously, the demand for advanced security solutions often requires substantial investments in technology, expertise and infrastructure. The issue is that clients are increasingly scrutinizing costs and demanding value for their investment. MSSPs must balance the need for cutting-edge tools and talent with the imperative to control costs and maintain profitability. This pressure is compounded by the competitive landscape, where numerous providers vie for market share, driving down prices and squeezing margins.

Seeing this challenge is what prompted Radware to release a new business MSSPs to help service providers grow their businesses by allowing them to extend a line of managed network and application security services to their customers.

Radware, a global provider of cybersecurity and application delivery solutions, offers security and availability services for physical, cloud and software-defined data centers. Its portfolio protects infrastructure, applications and corporate IT for enterprises worldwide. The company's solutions help businesses adapt to market challenges, maintain continuity and achieve maximum productivity while controlling costs.

Radware's new model allows MSSPs to customize, rebrand and resell its cloud-based DDoS protection and application protection services. These services are designed to defend MSSPs' clients from various cyberattacks, including DDoS attacks, DNS attacks, application-level attacks and Layer 7 web DDoS attacks.

Several service providers, including US Signal, are already collaborating with Radware to expand their cybersecurity portfolios and enhance their clients' experiences.

"Radware recognizes the unique needs and challenges faced by service providers," said David Humes, Vice President of Product Development for US Signal, a leading provider of cloud solutions, network connectivity, and data center services. "Beyond addressing crucial scaling and technological requirements, Radware's MSSP program distinguishes itself through its built-in support for establishing a comprehensive security service practice."

US Signal selected Radware for their advanced technology, expertise in precisely mitigating volumetric attacks, and their ability to help the service provider expedite the launch of a new, value-added security offering for clients.

“MSSPs are under constant pressure to evolve their services and deliver an exceptional user experience without eroding their margins,” said Haim Zelikovsky, Vice President of Radware’s Cloud Business. “Our security experts work alongside service providers to not only defend their customers against cyber threats, but also offer them a unique opportunity to create an industry-leading portfolio of security services that can drive new revenue streams.”
