Sungard Availability Services (Sungard AS), which is known for helping businesses transform their IT environments, has been making a name for itself by offering highly-available cloud-connected infrastructure in North America and Europe.
The company recently announced it gained two new additions to its Next-Gen Amazon Web Services (AWS) Managed Service Provider (MSP) Partner Program.
These partners play an essential role in the company’s goal to provide expertise, guidance, and services for companies as they move through their digital transformations.
Earlier this month, the company said it was accepted into the AWS MSP Partner Program for the third year. As AWS Consulting Partners, the company is validated as a highly-skilled full lifecycle solutions provider offering expertise, guidance, and services.
The move to the cloud typically includes many stages with AWS services. Sungard AS can help customers each step of the way - from planning to design the building, migrating, and running and operating and optimizing on AWS cloud.
“AWS partners with providers such as Sungard AS to help companies embrace comprehensive cloud-native solutions that reduce costs, improve business agility, increase security, and empower organizations to focus on their goals,” said Sam Miller, Head of UK and Ireland Partner Management for AWS.
One of Sungard AS’ customers, thedatabank GBC, needed a cloud provider to meet its users’ needs who communicate via text, voice, email, and social channels.
With AWS Managed Services from Sungard AS, they have gained peace of mind and functionality in one offering.
“Our focus at thedatabank is on data security, and we maintain a state-of-the-art data center with Sungard AS using AWS Managed Services to protect our clients. Data is safer with thedatabank than it is in our clients’ own offices, and we can do it all at a reasonable cost thanks to our Sungard AS and AWS solution,” said Mark Paquette, co-founder and Chief Technology Officer for thedatabank. “AWS has opened up an entirely new array of services to us – from communication to analytics and reporting – all under one roof.
