By Maurice Nagle

Software is surging. It was only a matter of time before software defined solutions entered the network, and in recent years we’ve seen this arena explode with engineering and innovation. The WAN was long overdue for a makeover, and SD-WAN is the perfect replacement.

This week, CloudGenix announced a new partnership with OneCloud Networks, which will add the CloudGenix suite of SD-WAN solutions to its portfolio of managed services. OneCloud can now provide customers with end-to-end managed WAN.

CloudGenix CEO Kumar Ramachandran said of partnering with OneCloud, "We are excited to help OneCloud extend their product and service portfolio. OneCloud is doing a fantastic job making life easier for many trusted brands and we are delighted to partner with them to enable a world-class managed SD-WAN service."

In deploying managed SD-WAN services from OneCloud, clients can enjoy WAN transport independence, peace of mind in deploying SaaS and cloud applications, the alleviation of the need for remote hardware and the associated cost, as well as improved WAN high availability.

OneCloud Chief Solutions Officer Haider Mirjat said, "We are excited to provide our customers with transformational WAN technology in a managed service to allow them to simplify their network, integrate heterogeneous transports, adopt the cloud, and reduce cross across the board. CloudGenix was the right choice given their top-down application-based view of the world that aligns networking with business intent."

The future software-defined, with today’s innovation laying the groundwork for a flexible, high-performing and reliable networks operations for many years to come. As we move ever further into the digital era, the network must be ready for the challenges ahead.
