MSP SACA Technologies Helps Businesses Secure Mobile Microsoft Devices

By Laura Stotler

The bring-your-own-device (BYOD) movement has changed the IT landscape in a number of ways. As the number of remote workers rises along with employees insisting on using their personal mobile devices to communicate and access sensitive company data, IT workers are faced with the challenge of protecting both devices and data in the most efficient and cost-effective way possible.

SACA Technologies offers a variety of managed services designed to help companies protect and keep track of Microsoft and Windows-based mobile devices. The company, a Microsoft Solutions Provider, specializes in the management of tablets and cellphones manufactured by Microsoft along with those using a Windows-based operating system.

The company’s offerings are provided as standalone security and support solutions, but are also offered as a managed service. This enables organizations to outsource the management and security of their entire IT infrastructure, including mobile devices. Features include 24/7 network and performance monitoring, network firewalls, data backup and disaster recovery and intrusion prevention and detection.

According to a MarketandMarkets report, the BYOD and enterprise mobility market will reach $181.39 billion by 2017. North America is driving the market, with $24.26 billion in revenues in 2011 that will reach $58.60 billion by 2017.

“The Bring-your-own-device phenomenon is entering enterprise IT, and will change the way users and organizations address network security concerns,” states the report. “There are software and security vendors which are helping the companies to provide an environment where employees can connect their devices to the enterprise network without having any security related issues and this is driving the growth of the BYOD and enterprise mobility market.”

"With the proliferation of mobile devices being used in the business sector, it is critical for companies to have an IT service provider that can manage and secure those devices," said Alexander Saca, CEO of SACA Technologies. "SACA Technologies is proud to be a certified Microsoft Solution Provider, a title that guarantees our technicians can help provide the highest-quality IT services for our clients' Microsoft and Windows-based devices."

In addition to managed BYOD services, SACA provides cloud server hosting, application and virtual desktop hosting, infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) and customized hosting solutions.
