Perception Point Unveils Advanced Security Training Powered by DCOYA

By Stefania Viscusi

Perception Point, a provider of advanced threat prevention across digital communication channels, announced a new security awareness training program for its customers in response to the continuously evolving landscape of cyber threats today.

Instead of generic, one-size-fits-all security training programs, the company aims to provide a behavior-centric approach, honing in on employee actions and emotional responses to transform them into active defenders against cyber threats.

Recent findings from a Verizon Data Breach Investigations Report found humans play a critical role in many breaches, with 74% attributed to factors like social engineering attacks, errors, or misuse.

With the new training program, powered by DCOYA, and seamlessly integrated into its Advanced Email Security solution, customers get a suite of tools and resources tailored to their organization's security concerns. This includes Organization-Specific Training Simulations, which mimic real threats.

"Our customers are increasingly looking for a solution that unifies advanced email security and security awareness training," said Asaf Kotsel, Co-founder and CEO at DCOYA. "Partnering with Perception Point provides unparalleled threat prevention and tailored awareness training based on the actual threats that are thwarted, strengthening the security of each employee and the organization as a whole."

Using machine learning algorithms, the program draws from behavioral psychology and marketing methods to automate tailored training for each employee, reducing the risk of successful cyberattacks and data breaches.

"While technology can successfully thwart 99.95% of attacks, we recognize the critical need to equip our customers and partners with the best security awareness training that will empower employees with the knowledge and behavior to prevent the next cyber attack," said Motti Elloul, VP of Customer Success and Incident Response at Perception Point. "Personalized, automated employee training programs integrated with best-in-class email security will provide organizations with a complete toolkit to protect their organizations."
