Xobee Interconnects Companies through Acquisition

Xobee Interconnects Companies through Acquisition

By Greg Tavarez

The workforce rapidly changed the past few years, as the global pandemic accelerated digital transformation and many trends that were emerging prior to 2020. To support their evolution, companies looked to service providers for solutions that heightened communication and collaboration, beefed up network security, improved productivity and reduced costs.

For example, MSP Xobee provided innovative and cost-effective technologies across California. From implementing a new cloud based, terminal server for The Garabedian Group to transitioning GSF Properties to an advanced HD VoIP-phone system.

From there, Xobee continued to search for ways to bring new and existing clients advanced and affordable technology solutions. As a way to extend technology services, cybersecurity and network support to more businesses, nonprofits and other organizations throughout California, Xobee acquired Interconnect, a technologies solutions provider based in Palm Springs, California.

Interconnect’s services and capabilities, which include network security, managed support, cloud solutions, VoIP support, computer network maintenance and 24/7 monitoring, save SMBs time and money. Through the acquisition, Xobee will deliver even greater value to its clients.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Interconnect to the Xobee team,” said Eric Rawn, Xobee founder and CEO. “Their expertise, experience and strong commitment to clients will only strengthen our own company culture and capabilities as we continue to advance and grow our suite of technology solutions.”

The acquisition furthered Xobee’s mission to provide IT services and support that are affordable and effective to a new region of clients within Palm Springs. Rawn said this allows Xobee to “be a gateway” of affordable technology solutions that clients may not have had access to before.

The deal is only the latest in an ongoing consolidation trend in the MSP space. As MSPs continue to expand their businesses, many are growing organically, while many others are taking the acquisition route. In such a competitive space, a slew of M&A activity was inevitable.

MSP Expo 2023 is coming February 14-17, 2023 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.  Part of the #TECHSUPERSHOW , MSP Expo delivers dedicated education, networking, and business opportunities to the MSP community, exploring the latest trends and technologies that are driving the MSP market and enabling channel partners to evolve and grow their businesses.
