HighWire Networks' Overwatch Managed Cybersecurity Revenue Sees Big Jump

HighWire Networks' Overwatch Managed Cybersecurity Revenue Sees Big Jump

By Greg Tavarez

High Wire Networks is enabling value-added resellers, MSPs, distributors, integrators, manufacturers and telecom providers to minimize overhead while extending delivery capabilities around the world.

Services provided by High Wire include design, installation, configuration and support for unified communications, wired and wireless networks, cabling and infrastructure and electrical systems.

But, where the real momentum seems to be is with High Wire’s Overwatch Managed Security Marketplace.  The Overwatch program is designed to enable High Wire’s partners to deliver comprehensive cybersecurity that's easy to sell (and easy to buy) on a subscription basis.  Overwatch saw its MRR grow by 111%.

Overwatch partners also grew, to the tune of 32% year to date, 18% Q1 to Q2; and Overwatch paying tenants increased more than 196% YTD, up 92% from Q1 to Q2.

“The acceleration of our Overwatch growth is aligned with the commitment we made to our MSP and channel partners to expand our managed security roadmap, driving tremendous value to their businesses,” said Mark Porter, High Wire president and CEO. “Our continued investments deliver customized solutions that improve the maturity of our partner’s cybersecurity program.”

Perhaps more importantly the continued and significant growth indicates that businesses are more aware than ever of the need to protect their data and networks from bad actors.  The threats only continue to increase and, historically, businesses have taken a somewhat relaxed view of cyber security.  That mindset appears to have been replaced by a much more security-focused one that is much more appropriate for today’s digital era.

The news of the division growth comes a month after High Wire posted its Q1 2022 revenue of $12.7 million and predicted that managed services revenues will continue to grow at a rapid clip as High Wire expects to accomplish its goal of over 1,000 paying end clients by mid-year rather than end of year.

High Wire Networks Inc. was an MSP Expo platinum sponsor in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. #TECHSUPERSHOW includes nearly a dozen collocated business technology events that bring buyers, users, sellers and partners together under one roof to educate and build business relationships around the technologies driving business success today.
