Rich Gavaghen Named Senior VP of Sales at NetFortris

There has never been a better time to be in the managed services industry. The demand for cloud support and legacy overhauls is through the roof, and MSPs are stepping in to help businesses adapt to the new ways of working. With so much activity taking place these days, MSPs need experienced leaders to ensure customers are supported, employees are well trained, and operations are running smoothly.

This week, national managed services provider NetFortris announced Rich Gavaghen has been selected as Senior Vice President of Sales. As part of accepting this new role, Gavaghen will now be responsible for leading a number of critical initiatives for the company, including culture building, training, recruiting, sales/account management, sales engineering, and profit-and-loss management.

Hiring Gavaghen was certainly a calculated effort, as he is a notable business veteran in the world of telecom sales, recently working in executive sales roles for a number of major companies including ByteGrid, Digital Reality, and Zayo Group. Gavaghen also worked for XO Communications, Internap and Cbeyond as an executive in regional sales earlier in his career.

“Rich has grown revenue and helped create a winning culture in every organization he’s served,” said Jamie Minner, Chief Revenue Officer at NetFortris. “He’s laser-focused on retention of customers, partners and employees by setting expectations and delivering accountability. We’re thrilled to welcome Rich to the NetFortris team and look forward to driving growth together.”

“I’m excited to start the next chapter of my career with NetFortris,” said Gavaghen. “We are a well-funded, flat organization with strong leadership and a cutting-edge managed IT solution set that’s priced fairly for businesses of all sizes that are accelerating their digital transformations to survive and thrive despite the pandemic.”
