Unigma's Unified Cloud Monitoring Platform Helps MSPs Manage Infrastructure and Services

By Laura Stotler

MSPs are increasingly tasked with managing and maintaining cloud infrastructure and services for their customers. This important task could make or break their business models and the cloud presents unique challenges that often make this a daunting process. Yet customers are demanding cloud solutions and a service provider’s ability to provide them is key to staying competitive in a crowded market.

Unigma, a company founded just last October, is addressing the specific needs of MSPs, CSPs and VARs charged with managing cloud infrastructure and services. The company offers a unified cloud monitoring platform that lets service providers easily monitor and expand their public cloud offerings. The solution works with AWS, Microsoft Azure and Google Compute Engine, providing a unified, single pane of glass offering for monitoring the health, costs and reporting of cloud services.

Because service providers take ownership of their dashboards, they can white label the solution to provide customized reports to their customers. The platform also offers an easy means to visualize and correlate metrics from multiple customers, clouds and resources, ensuring service providers are on top of cloud management and that services are running efficiently and optimally. Unigma’s platform also integrates with a variety of popular MSP service management tools like Autotask, ConnectWise and Kaseya.

“We have been an early adopter of Unigma,” said Alex Ho of IT services provider ComputerSupport.com. “Unigma has helped us extend our service and provide our customers the high level of service wherever they choose to operate – on premise, using a hybrid approach, or purely in the cloud." The MSP participated in a beta program of the offering earlier this year.

In tandem with announcing general availability of the cloud monitoring platform, Unigma has also announced its Network Operation Center (NOC). The solution is also a white label offering that may be branded as a value-added offering by service providers. The NOC offers 15-minute responses to any alerts generated on a 24/7 basis and is a great fit for MSPs that want to offer round-the-clock monitoring without maintain the staff and resources to do so.
