A Conversation About AI-Driven Tools at MSP Expo 2025

By Greg Tavarez

MSPs frequently encounter operational hurdles that mirror those faced by in-house IT departments, a primary concern being the time-consuming nature of repetitive and relatively straightforward tasks. These routine activities, such as password resets, software installations and basic troubleshooting, consume a good chunk of an MSP's valuable resources. This not only detracts from their ability to focus on higher-value services, such as strategic IT planning, proactive maintenance, and advanced security solutions, but also diminishes their efficiency and profitability.

Adding to that, the waves of these mundane tasks lead to burnout and decreased employee morale within the MSP's workforce. Skilled technicians, who are often in high demand, may become disengaged and less motivated when their expertise is primarily utilized for resolving minor issues. This not only impacts employee satisfaction but also diminishes the overall quality of service delivered to clients.

To address this challenge, MSPs must implement strategies that streamline their operations and automate routine tasks wherever possible. During a panel session at MSP Expo 2025 (taking place February 11-13, 2025, at the Broward County Convention Center in Fort Lauderdale, Florida), there is a chance for MSPs to learn how AI and automation can relieve that burden. AI and automation can be used to simplify operations and free MSP staff to focus on other elements that require human intervention.

During “The Power of AI and Automation: Streamlining MSP Operations and Client Services,” taking place from 11:00-11:45 AM Tuesday, February 11, 2025, MSPs will hear of the different ways these modern AI-driven tools can increase their operational capacity, which enables them to serve more clients and generate more revenue.

The panel session will feature Os Haque, vice president, product management GTM – hyperautomation, ConnectWise; Josh Owen, vice president of data and analytics, Rev.io; Mark Palmer, vice president, managed services, Granite.

MSP Expo, a three-day experience, also combines conference education focused on growth strategies, networking opportunities, an exhibit hall full of the latest technologies and solutions to help MSPs build their businesses. This is a premier event for MSPs.
