More Veeam, More Flexibility: Sherweb's Latest Offering for MSPs

By Greg Tavarez

Organizations face a growing threat landscape, with data vulnerabilities becoming increasingly common. And the potential consequences are severe, including financial losses, reputational damage and legal liabilities. According to IBM, the global average cost of a data breach is $4.88 million, a 10% increase from 2023.

To mitigate these risks and ensure business continuity, organizations need recovery solutions that help safeguard critical data, enable rapid recovery in the event of a disaster and minimize downtime. But these solutions are sometimes hard to access for businesses, especially SMBs.

Therefore, Sherweb, known for its cloud marketplace and is a Gold partner in the Veeam Cloud & Service Provider program, recently announced the expanded availability of Veeam offerings to deliver innovative strategies that empower MSPs to address these critical concerns effectively.

“We're excited to work alongside Sherweb to provide MSPs with the tools they need to safeguard their clients' most valuable assets and keep their businesses running and secure,” said Shiva Pillay, general manager and senior vice president of Americas at Veeam. “Together, we're making data protection more accessible, efficient and reliable, and empowering overall data resilience."

Veeam is a provider of data protection and recovery solutions. It offers a suite of products designed to safeguard critical data across diverse environments, including virtual, physical and cloud-based workloads.

Veeam Data Platform is a data protection and recovery solution designed to safeguard critical data across diverse environments, including on-premises, hybrid cloud and multi-cloud. It offers a unified platform for backing up, recovering and managing data.

Veeam Cloud Connect is a cloud-based disaster recovery solution that enables organizations to replicate and recover their workloads to a secure, off-site location. It offers secure data transfers, disaster recovery orchestration and scalable cloud storage.

Veeam Service Provider Console is a management tool designed for service providers to efficiently manage their customers' data protection needs. It provides a single pane of glass to monitor and manage multiple customer environments; detailed reports on service usage, performance and capacity; and security features to protect customer data.

Integrating Veeam Data Platform, Veeam Cloud Connect and Veeam Service Provider Console allows Sherweb to help its partners provide advanced data protection, including backup, disaster recovery and business continuity services. This ensures uninterrupted operations for MSPs’ clients while allowing for better scalability to accommodate future demands.

“Our expanded offering of Veeam enables us to support more tailored solutions for MSPs,” said Benji Germain, vice president of product at Sherweb. “With expanded Veeam capabilities, our partners can deliver highly customized services to meet the unique needs of their clients.”

Sherweb is dedicated to providing exceptional support and services to its partners. And it’s tapping its industry expertise and strong relationships with leading technology providers to further help MSPs achieve their business goals and deliver better value to their customers.
