NetWolves Offering RapidScale Cloud DaaS, Backup and Design Solutions

By Laura Stotler

A new partnership has been struck between cloud solution provider RapidScale and service provider NetWolves. RapidScale’s cloud solutions will now be offered as part of the NetWolves portfolio of services thanks to the arrangement.

A managed network provider (MNP), NetWolves specializes in providing multi-network and multi-technology solutions including a single-source offering that combines a variety of services on one invoice. The company offers network design and redundancy, application device management, reporting and support systems and real-time network monitoring.

RapidScale’s offerings are centered around convergence and providing Desktop as a Service (DaaS) and Business Apps as a Service. Solutions include the CloudDesktop virtual desktop solution, CloudServer server virtualization services and CloudRecovery offering, which provides backup and failover services. The company also offers CloudMail, Hosted Microsoft Exchange services and the all-in-one CloudOffice solution, which combines all offerings in a single-source solution.

NetWolves will also take advantage of the company’s CloudIntelligence Team, CloudCompliance Team and Cloud Sales Engineering Team for providing customer quotes and for helping set up complex cloud computing topologies and roadmaps.

“This partnership will help both companies capitalize on the continued shift to the cloud while at the same time offer the end user a better experience by having one company to contact for support,” said Randy Jeter, CEO of RapidScale, of the partnership.

RapidScale is quickly becoming the cloud power behind a variety of service provider offerings. Last year the company partnered with voice and data carrier UNSi to offer a solution for delivering business apps to the cloud through UNSi’s private MPLS network. The service provider is offering RapidScale’s suite of cloud services, supported by CloudMPLS.

RapidScale also teamed up with TierPoint, an MSP and provider of colocation and cloud services. The company’s facility in Dallas offers the RapidScale CloudDesktop solution to users as part of its suite of cloud services.
