Cloud-Based VoIP Solutions Provider INVOIP Receives Cisco Specialization Designation

By Laura Stotler

INVOIP, a provider of cloud-based hosted VoIP solutions, has received an Advanced Collaboration Architecture Specialization from Cisco for the U.S. The designation recognizes the service provider’s investments in meeting a number of training and certification requirements.

According to Cisco, the specialization is awarded based on INVOIP’s ability to sell, design and deploy comprehensive Cisco Collaboration Architecture solutions. The service provider is part of the Cisco Resale Channel Program, which gives Cisco’s partners the training needed to build sales, design and technical talent. Partners’ skills are then validated through a third-party audit.

INVOIP’s cloud-based hosted solutions are designed for small and medium-sized businesses. The company uses a number of Cisco products, including Cisco Unified Communications Manager, Unity Connection, Unified Contact Center Express, Unified Presence and InformaCast Paging.

The service provider also acts to provide integration between Cisco’s collaboration solutions and cloud applications like Google Apps. The company’s hosted PBX solution offers a number of benefits, including service to multiple locations on one phone system, the flexibility to scale up or down as needs change, and simple installation and maintenance.

"This is another milestone in the evolution of our service delivery and commitment in providing the best communication and collaboration solutions possible to our customers,” said Ben Rife, president and CEO of INVOIP. “We are proud to partner with Cisco."

“The Cisco Advanced Collaboration Architecture Specialization is designed to help Cisco channel partners meet a wide range of customer needs,” said Richard McLeod, senior director of collaboration architecture for the worldwide partner group at Cisco. “Achieving the Cisco Advanced Collaboration Architecture Specialization provides INVOIP with access to comprehensive sales and technical training as well as support from Cisco.”
