Dynamic Quest Adds to Southeast Presence with NetOne Technologies Acquisition

By Erik Linask

Managed IT and cybersecurity services provider Dynamic Quest has acquired NetOne Technologies, a Florida-based MSP with over two decades of experience serving the SMB market.  The move strengthens North Carolina-based Dynamic Quest’s footprint in the Southeast, extending its service offerings into the South Florida market and adding a seasoned team to its growing family.

While the geographical expansion into Boca Raton is a clear benefit, the strategic rationale behind the NetOne acquisition runs deeper than just location.  As Dynamic Quest CEO John Guillaume told me, “NetOne stood out because it’s a well-run MSP with strong alignment to our core values and operational standards.”

The decision was also influenced by NetOne’s client base mirroring Dynamic Quest’s ideal customer profile and, crucially, a highly compatible technology stack.  This deep operational and cultural alignment is expected to facilitate a seamless integration, minimizing disruption for clients.

In fact, the synergy between the two companies extends across their service portfolios and operational tools.  According to Guillaume, a remarkable “90% of NetOne’s services directly align with a Dynamic Quest service," with several offering identical solutions using the same underlying technologies.  This extensive common ground was a pivotal factor in the acquisition strategy, promising a smooth transition and consistent, high-level service delivery.

This shared expertise is particularly critical in the constantly evolving cybersecurity landscape, which Guillaume says is the single biggest concern for clients.  Both Dynamic Quest and NetOne have core offerings focused on cybersecurity, a critical component of MSPs’ service portfolio with SMBs being increasingly targeted.  With over half of all cyberattacks now aimed at SMBs, their very survival hinges on their ability to withstand incidents, making prevention and rapid response absolute necessities.

The new entity will increase both companies’ ability to defend their clients.  As Guillaume points out, “The combined company will have more expertise and a deeper cybersecurity bench,” ensuring their ability to act quickly and decisively when needed.

NetOne clients will immediately gain access to a bolstered suite of advanced capabilities, including 24x7x365 help desk support, real-time device and network monitoring, and a full stack of cybersecurity solutions, encompassing MDR, SIEM/SOC services, and BCDR.  Additionally, they will benefit from Dynamic Quest’s innovative AI-enhanced client experience platform.

Dynamic Quest, with its extensive experience in integrations as one of the largest MSPs in the Southeast, is approaching the merger with a carefully crafted playbook.

“We've worked closely with NetOne CEO Richard Bova to ensure our customers remain our top priority and will continue to receive the best service possible,” Guillaume said.  “We're not rushing anything — each step is being executed with precision to protect service quality and client relationships.”

Through the transition, NetOne will maintain some of its branding, including its logo and website, before being fully integrated under the Dynamic Quest brand to ensure consistency across the entire expanded network.

Looking ahead, Dynamic Quest's growth trajectory shows no signs of slowing.  Acquisitions remain a core part of its strategy and while its primary focus remains serving the Southeast region, the company is also exploring opportunities in neighboring geographies.  This acquisition increases Dynamic Quest's position in the region and, based on its prior successes, its continued commitment to strategic expansion opportunities that will drive further growth and market leadership is hardly surprising.
