Devicie and Entag Partner to Secure Modern Endpoints with Microsoft Intune

By Greg Tavarez

Cybersecurity threats have evolved at what some consider to be a worrying pace; many organizations are left vulnerable to increasingly sophisticated attacks. Remember when organizations (and individuals, too) only had to worry about simple phishing emails and easily detectable malware? That’s unfortunately no longer the case; cybercriminals now use advanced techniques like AI and machine learning to craft highly targeted and personalized attacks.

For instance, AI-powered phishing attacks mimic genuine communication styles, which makes it more difficult for users to distinguish between legitimate and fraudulent messages. And attackers are employing social engineering tactics to manipulate individuals into divulging sensitive information, as well. By exploiting human psychology, these attacks bypass even the strongest technical defenses.

Furthermore, the increasing interconnectedness of our digital world creates new avenues for cyberattacks. IoT devices, while offering interconnected convenience, also become entry points for malicious actors. Hackers can exploit vulnerabilities in these devices to gain unauthorized access to networks and systems.

Combatting these evolving threats forces organizations to turn to the likes of MSPs to provider a proactive and layered approach to cybersecurity. This includes having the MSP implement security policies and procedures.

One MSP in particular, Australian company Entag, offers managed solutions for ICT services. Their solutions portfolio covers whole of business products and services, from core networking, IoT and 5G connectivity, unified communications, Microsoft 365 and endpoint management, to ensure their customers’ staff can get the job done wherever and whenever they need to, securely.

"Entag is a rapidly growing MSP specializing in Microsoft technologies with a diverse portfolio of customers," said Kris Carver, CEO at Entag.

To continue to drive its Microsoft-first strategy, Entag recently inked an exclusive agreement with Devicie.

Devicie simplifies the transition to a cloud-native environment for IT teams and MSPs by automating Microsoft Intune. Their multi-tenant platform allows for efficient and consistent endpoint management across multiple clients. This automation includes zero-touch configuration, automatic updates, application patching and built-in remediation. Additionally, Devicie provides enhanced management and compliance reporting.

Entag chose Devicie to bring unmatched efficiency, consistency and scalability to every new Intune 365 customer. As part of the agreement, Devicie is now Entag's exclusive partner across Australia's technology and telecommunications company Telstra's enterprise, business and government channels.

Devicie, as a member of the Microsoft for Startups Pegasus Program and the Microsoft Intelligent Security Association, is positioned to collaborate with Entag and the broader cybersecurity community to enhance the ability of customers to proactively identify, detect and respond to security threats.

"Devicie has secured our first major MSP deal with Entag, a company that we fit nicely with from a technological perspective, but also because our organizations share many of the same goals and optimism for growth," said Colin Britton, Chief Operating Officer at Devicie. "We offer MSPs a layer of value with secure, modern endpoint management, powered by both Microsoft Intune and Devicie, and we look forward to growing our business and expertise with Entag."

Both companies are committed to maximizing the value of Microsoft deployments and empowering customers to streamline operations, drive growth and unlock untapped potential.
