Telarus Partners Get a Digital Signage Edge with Quest-Samsung Collaboration

By Greg Tavarez

Digital signage is a dynamic tool that is used by businesses to better engage with their customers. Its versatility makes it applicable to businesses of all sizes. Unlike traditional static signage, digital signage uses technology to deliver captivating and interactive content tailored to specific audiences.

One of its primary advantages lies in its ability to captivate attention. With vibrant displays and dynamic content, digital signage stands out in crowded environments. Digital signage allows for flexibility and real-time updates. Businesses can effortlessly modify content to align with changing promotions, seasonal campaigns, or even adapt to current events. This agility ensures that messaging remains relevant and impactful, maximizing its effectiveness in driving customer engagement and, consequently, revenue. There is also the interactivity of digital signage that opens new avenues for customer engagement. Touchscreens, QR codes and interactive displays invite customers to actively participate.

Think of the last store you went into. Digital displays in retail settings often showcase product promotions, advertisements or even provide interactive experiences where customers can explore product features or check for availability. Or maybe the last restaurant you went to go eat at. Restaurants also use digital menu boards to display their offerings, pricing and special promotions.

Digital signage transcends the limitations of traditional signage by offering businesses a dynamic platform to elevate their brand experiences and cultivate deeper connections with customers. Taking its step into the digital signage space is Quest Technology Management.

Quest recently announced a managed service partnership with Samsung to bring an innovative digital signage solution exclusively to Telarus technology advisers. In contrast to previously available options, which are traditionally a patchwork of various solutions and partners, this existing new offering from Quest is an all-in-one service package that significantly elevates the client experience.

The new service uses Samsung's VXT CMS. Samsung VXT CMS is a cloud-based digital signage content management system designed for businesses. It streamlines creating, scheduling and delivering content to various displays, including TVs, LED panels and even their "The Wall" displays.

VXT boasts a user-friendly interface for crafting content and a central location for managing all digital signage. Its cloud-based nature allows for remote updates and faster deployment without needing physical access to each display. This system also offers pre-built templates and mobile device compatibility for on-the-go content creation.

“We developed VXT as a cloud-native solution to simplify content creation, delivery and device management,” said Sukhmani Mohta, Head of Marketing and Partnerships, Display Division, Samsung Electronics America. “Leveraging our signage and VXT with Quest and Telarus, businesses can instantly deploy content in real-time, from anywhere, and unlock the full potential of their digital signage ecosystems.”

Samsung VXT CMS simplifies digital signage management with cloud-based configuration, updates and remote installation. The system offers intuitive content creation from any mobile device, enhancing display creativity and efficiency. This cloud-native platform with user-friendly interface streamlines operations, aiming to reshape digital signage management for businesses.

This service is designed to cater to a wide range of customers, especially within SMB and CI channels, areas that have historically been underserved in the digital signage market.

“We are beyond excited to bridge the execution gap between consistent MSP services and on-premise infrastructure deployment, delivering a simple yet powerful digital content offering to our partners and their customers,” said Adam Burke, Vice President of Sales and Partnerships, Quest Technology Management. “This partnership is all about making state-of-the-art digital signage more accessible and streamlined.”
