At-Bay Unveils MDR Cybersecurity Solution for SMBs

By Stefania Viscusi

In an effort to help increase the defenses small and mid-sized businesses have against escalating cyber crime today, At-Bay has introduced “At-Bay Stance Managed Detection and Response (At-Bay Stance MDR).” The MDR solution is custom-tailored to provide enhanced security defenses for emerging and mid-sized enterprises.

After taking time to do a comprehensive analysis of their claims data over the past two years, the company uncovered that more than 50% of their customers' cyber insurance claims could have been significantly reduced with an effective MDR solution.

MDR has become indispensable for organizations. The solution from At-Bay combines enterprise-grade software for endpoint monitoring, overseen by an in-house team of security experts – and helps to bridge the technology, expertise, and resource divide.

“Security for small businesses is broken. A critical technology, skills, and resources gap exists that many companies can’t overcome. Our new MDR solution was built to change that and will help to improve the cyber resilience and readiness of any business that uses it,” said Rotem Iram, CEO and Co-Founder of At-Bay and security veteran.

The protective stance ensures a swift and effective defense is in place against potential risks and significantly reduces the likelihood of data breaches, financial losses, and damage to a company's reputation.

In addition to peace of mind, companies that subscribe to MDR services, such as the one provided by At-Bay, may be eligible for premium credits on their cyber insurance policies due to the enhanced security measures being in place.

“As a provider of both insurance and cyber security products, we have unprecedented insight into where security technologies and controls are excelling, and failing, and we are incentivized to help businesses fix these gaps quickly. That’s why we are launching an MDR solution today,” said Thom Dekens, Chief Business Officer and GM of At-Bay Security.

Cyber security will be a key area of focus at MSP Expo 2024. Taking place February 13-15, 2024 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, MSP Expo is the premier event for MSPs, offering a three-day experience combining conference education focused on growth strategies, networking opportunities, an exhibit hall full of the latest technologies and solutions to help MSPs build their businesses and serve their customers, including the MSP Cybersecurity Theatre.
