ESET Integration Shows Atera's Commitment to Increasing IT Solutions Security

By Greg Tavarez

Cyber threats constantly change and become more sophisticated, which means that cybersecurity solutions must also evolve and adapt to stay ahead of those behind the threats. Additionally, as more businesses move online and rely on digital infrastructure to operate, the attack surface for cybercriminals continues to grow, making cybersecurity a critical concern for businesses of all sizes.

Atera, the cloud-based, all-in-one remote monitoring and management, helpdesk, and reporting platform for IT professionals, understands the severity of the sophistication and frequency of cyberattacks. Atera knows to partner with cybersecurity leaders to offer proactive protection against malware and arm customers against zero-day threats.

To enable its community of IT professionals to easily deploy advanced anti-malware solutions to protect their customers, Atera has entered a new partnership and integration with ESET.

ESET develops IT security software and services to protect businesses, critical infrastructure and consumers from increasingly sophisticated digital threats. From endpoint and mobile security to endpoint detection and response, ESET's solutions protect and monitor 24/7, updating defenses in real time to keep users safe and businesses running without interruption.

Through the partnership, ESET's server-free, cloud-based solution is seamlessly integrated within the Atera platform, allowing IT professionals to automate the protection of vital assets. Users can activate, provision, and deploy ESET's products directly from Atera, streamlining the process and enhancing usability within the platform. Customers also gain access to ESET's dashboard, which offers license management, detailed reporting and customer site administration capabilities.

"ESET's multi-layered approach to threat detection as well as response helps our partners minimize their attack surface and address the growing threat landscape,” said Gil Pekelman, CEO of Atera. “The resulting integrated offering represents a tremendous opportunity for Atera and its global customer base."

IT professionals using Atera can also choose from four popular solution tier packages: ESET PROTECT Entry, ESET PROTECT Advanced, ESET PROTECT Compete and ESET PROTECT Enterprise. These packages provide advanced and customizable security solutions that cover a range of security needs, including endpoint security, detection and response, file and mail server security, and mobile security.

The ESET integration is further proof that Atera continues to play a key role in the way that IT departments manage, protect and automate various technology and IT processes. Ryan Grant, vice president of sales for ESET North America believes so as well and is committed to working with Atera.

"Atera's development team has worked tirelessly to ensure a best-in-class integration that enhances the customer experience for IT professionals by reducing complexity and providing proactive threat detection and response,” said Grant. “We are committed to growing together, serving our customers, and expanding the integration over time."
