Proof of Growth at Dirty Dough

Proof of Growth at Dirty Dough

Clear visuals draw the attention of customers walking through retail stores, and interactive visual signage even further enhances the customer experience.

Hughes' managed digital signage solutions provide immersive video experiences that engage customers as well as employees. The signs are cloud-based and delivered via a SmartTV app or the Hughes Media Player with traditional TVs.

Retailers use the signage to promote their brands, provide product information and integrate social media apps for customer interaction. Grocery stores utilize the signage to engage frontline associates to ensure they are up to speed on store offerings and changes.

To utilize the turnkey digital signage solution to help its company grow, Dirty Dough, a franchise known for multilayered cookies, selected Hughes to deploy digital menu boards, promotional screens and employee communication screens in its business.

Hughes managed digital signage solutions display and promote Dirty Dough’s rotating selection of cookie flavors and guide employees in consistently making and decorating its signature stuffed cookies. The Hughes system also displays curated customer comments from online reviews and integrates with Dirty Dough's point-of-sale system for more efficient operations, further enhancing the in-store experience.

"Using our media signage cloud-based content management system for hosting and distribution, the Dirty Dough team easily updates digital menu and promotion boards – and even interactive kiosks – to display the latest, enticing offerings across their stores," said Mike Tippets, vice president, Hughes.

Founded in 2019, the Utah-based Dirty Dough company now spans several locations and plans a national franchise rollout. The Hughes Media Signage CMS is primed to assist Dirty Dough grow by providing as many screens as needed in displaying brand-consistent, immersive and engaging customer and employee content.

"The Hughes managed digital signage solution will help us deliver a consistent brand and product experience across locations as we continue to expand," said Wade Rasmussen, vice president of operations for Dirty Dough.

Hughes is a Platinum sponsor of MSP Expo 2023, taking place in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, Feb. 14-17, 2023. MSp Expo is part of the #TECHSUPERSHOW includes nearly a dozen collocated business technology events that bring buyers, users, sellers and partners together under one roof to educate and build business relationships around the technologies driving business success today. Hughes will be in Booth #735 in the exhibit hall.
