Insight XDR Capabilities Advance IT Modernization

Insight XDR Capabilities Advance IT Modernization

By Greg Tavarez

The digital threat landscape continues to escalate, pushing security to the forefront of most enterprise priority lists. But that doesn’t stop bad actors from becoming more sophisticated. For example, one bad actor attempted to penetrate an enterprise’s environment by hiding in security silos. Luckily, that enterprise had an XDR solution in place to collect and correlate events in real time, ultimately blocking the attack.

The XDR engine that blocked that attack was Insight Managed XDR. Insight is a solutions integrator that expanded its managed security service with the new XDR capabilities to help enterprises modernize and strengthen their security posture without adding overhead for internal IT teams.

Insight Managed XDR, part of a comprehensive suite of Insight managed IT services and an extension of Insight’s security architecture and overall IT modernization services, reduces risk and simplifies security management.

The XDR service will relieve IT teams of excessive manual tasks, scale or make changes to the environment with ease, and take the guesswork out of securing the IT environment. It will also collect security data at cloud scale and integrate with the client’s existing tools and ?leverage machine learning and AI to detect emergent threats and reduce alert fatigue.

“Our clients are seeing a dramatic decrease in security fatigue and burnout through the automation that this service provides,” said Stephen Moss, senior vice president of managed services at Insight.

Insight Managed XDR provides 24/7 visibility into the complete IT environment and shortens the time typically required to discover an attempted security breach from months to hours or minutes.

The XDR service comes with 16 years of incident and threat management experience backed by over 1,500 architects, engineers and security subject matter experts to help organizations reduce security-related costs and transform their security operations center.
