Nomosphre Brings Wi-Fi from Cambium Networks to CASVP

By Stefania Viscusi

The City of Paris Social Action Center (CASVP) has a network of thousands of social workers that provide assistance to seniors, people with special needs, and families living in vulnerable circumstances. To ensure critical services and communications are delivered and to improve the level of care, managed service provider (MSP) Nomosphère will be providing Cambium Networks wireless networking solutions to its 294 locations across Paris.

The deployment includes thousands of Wi-Fi access points, centralized cloud management and more.

With Wi-Fi, caregivers and social workers can do a better job of helping these individuals with health monitoring, applying for aid and even training them to learn new skills.

Before taking on the project, it was looking for a professional Wi-Fi infrastructure that would be operated, managed, and maintained around the clock for its establishments. It also needed a Wi-Fi service that was simple to use and secure and available in several languages when connecting.

cnMaestro X provides a centralized cloud management system where one reliable connectivity solution is offered across the city.

"Setting up the equipment and managing the infrastructure is very simple, thanks to the cnMaestro cloud management platform," said Jean-Yves Simon, Sales Director, Nomosphère. "Furthermore, the access points are perfectly integrated with our Network Operations Center."

Nomosphère’s MSP services for locations across France and abroad make it easy to manage and customize network offerings. Its partnership with Cambium Networks provides over 10,000 Wi-Fi hotspots. As the MSP provider of its services, it works to ensure the network is up and operating at all sites.

"CASVP focuses on providing care and assistance for people," said Atul Bhatnagar, president and CEO of Cambium Networks. "Our focus is on providing networking solutions so that MSPs like Nomosphère and CASVP social workers have simple, reliable and secure access that enables them to provide the best possible care."
