CSPi Vital UCaaS Solution Officially Approved for Cisco Cloud and Managed Services Program

By Laura Stotler

In a major boost for its managed and cloud services solutions, CSPi Technology Solutions has been approved for Cisco System's Cloud and Managed Services Program for Managed Business Communications. The designation means CSPi's Vital Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS) offering has been officially approved and authorized by Cisco.

The Vital UCaaS offering enables CSPi customers to purchase managed and cloud services as they need them. The solution is powered by Cisco's Unified Communications Manager (CUCM) technology and offers a variety of collaboration features that may be adjusted to meet customers' specific business needs. Vital UCaaS is delivered through a secure as-a-service model and offers a redundant multi-tenant collaboration and communication architecture.

The official Cisco designation means CSPI's solution meets all the requirements and adheres to Cisco's recommended design and operational guidelines for Managed Business Communications partners. Vital UCaaS aims to deliver an integrated communications experience through cloud-based voice, video, voicemail, conferencing, presence, desktop sharing, mobility and instant messaging.

“Consumption models continue to evolve, and we are experiencing increased demand from our clients who are looking for op-ex consumption options that allow for scalability and predictable spend,” said Nick Monfreda, vice president of managed services at CSPi Technology Solutions. “CSPi is committed to adding solutions to our Vital portfolio of managed services that provide cost savings and improve the client experience as the trend continues to move towards a remote workforce model. It is critical for us to continue to invest in offerings that align with client demand.”

CSPi customers can take advantage of the company's own cloud infrastructure, which is used to host Cisco UCM AND Cisco Collaboration Applications. The Vital UCaaS solution provides 99.95 percent availability as well ongoing 24x7 day two support.

Additional features include a cloud-hosted PBX offering enterprise-grade IP telephony and unified communications and messaging. The UC component enables both session and call control for all types of communications, anytime, anywhere and via any device. The unified messaging features enables users to access and manage their messages through an IP phone or smartphone, tablet, web browser or via email. Vital UCaaS also offers contact center capabilities, enabling clients to offer proactive and personalized omnichannel interactions to their own customers.

To provide additional information, resources and networking opportunities in the managed and cloud services space, TMC is hosting MSP Expo. The event will take place from February 19-21 at the Miami Beach Convention Center, and is designed to bring together MSP business owners and technology specialists to share growth strategies and networking opportunities.
