MISA Admits First Wave of MSSPs

By Maurice Nagle

Digital transformation is no longer an if, but when, proposition. And as the enterprise settles in to the cloud, and a remote way of working, trusted partners are making a smooth, secure transition possible. Managed security service providers (MSSPs) are embracing a prominent role in this migration.

Open Systems and its Born in the Cloud division are the newest members of MISA (Microsoft Intelligent Security Association) as part of a pilot program extending ecosystem membership to a number of MSSPs.

“We are excited to be in the first group of MSSPs invited to join MISA as we share their commitment to cybersecurity. The timing is ideal as enterprises worldwide must support millions of employees working from home, combat increasingly sophisticated cyberthreats and accelerate their cloud transformation journeys,” said Jeff Brown, CEO of Open Systems.

This first wave of MSSP members signals a collaborative approach for MISA, now augmenting its base of independent software vendors and improving the end user experience as a result. There are more than 150 MISA products capable of integrating with the Microsoft security portfolio, and with MSSPs gaining membership managed complementary services make access to and integration of next generation security easy.

“I am pleased to welcome Open Systems and its Born in the Cloud division to the Microsoft Intelligent Security Association (MISA). By including MSSPs in MISA, we hope to further enable collaboration between leading security technology companies to better secure and protect our joint customers,” said Mandana Javaheri, global director, Cybersecurity Solutions Group at Microsoft Corp.

Security is a team game. As the community comes together, the enterprise can rest easy with a collaborative security approach. What’s your security strategy?
