Managed services providers are feasting on the spoils of digital transformation. The demand is driving a time of great change. From networking and business management, to disaster recovery and beyond, SMBs are offering fertile ground for MSP growth.

Datto Inc is expanding, and as part of these efforts announced the selection of Aligned Energy’s Salt Lake Metro data center. The selection should support MSPs nicely moving forward.

“Datto protects data for businesses around the world, and our recent growth has been driven by the ongoing surge of small business IT,” states William Speirs, Ph.D., Vice President of Infrastructure Engineering Technology at Datto. “We were looking for a partner we could grow with, and Aligned’s adaptable data center platform provides the flexibility to accommodate the scale and densification of our environment. Aligned’s rapid deployment model enabled a seamless migration into their facility, eliminating risk and minimizing any impact on our business operations.”

In addition to Aligned’s exceptional data center cooling technology, its West Jordan data center provides a strategic location with access to connectivity infrastructure as well as a number of telecom providers and carriers. With the new data center, Datto can comfortably extend footprint and expand service capabilities.

“Leveraging our adaptive data center platform and dynamic infrastructure, Datto now has the ability to easily scale as its business continues to expand,” says Andrew Schaap, CEO of Aligned Energy.

The modern MSP is offers SMBs the ability to evolve, empowering change to better compete in the business world.
