Frontier Unveils Frontier Cloud Managed Solutions

By Maurice Nagle

Managed services is a space that is exploding. As SMB to enterprise move from analog to digital, there are evolving market needs, demanding flexible, cloud-powered future forward services.

Frontier Communications announced the arrival of the enterprise aimed Frontier Cloud Managed Solutions. The newly launched services promise automation, agility, elasticity and more.

“Frontier’s Cloud Managed IT Solutions are a complete and flexible multi-cloud delivery platform that brings business customers a reliable, consistent and unified cloud IT operations experience,” said Daniel Peiretti, Frontier’s Senior Vice President of Products & Marketing. “Our system leverages thousands of cutting-edge computing assets to provide customers with managed services and integrated commercial offerings, including disaster recovery as a service and security as a service.”

The Frontier delivery model involves three phases. First is moving from the physical or virtual, to a cloud IT environment, managed via the Frontier multi-cloud orchestration portal. Next, Frontier offers either a fully integrated cloud native toolbox for the enterprise seeking a self service approach to application control and management or, will manage those needs. Thirdly, the Frontier Managed Solutions services suite is delivered via user portal, and the organization can feel the full force of digital transformation.

Added Peiretti, “Our fully automated and integrated tools deliver a fully functional environment that goes beyond a secondary application environment, allowing end users to maintain the same privileges and access as in the production environment.”

Choosing between DIY, self-service or, something in between is an important one. I’ll say this, there’s something to be said for the growth taking place in the MSP space.
