The unified communications market seems to have reached something of an inflection point, where convergent factors are finally pushing the market where many thought it should have been long ago – the cloud. Frost & Sullivan projects UCaaS adoption will continue to increase, driven by an increasing demand for supporting mobile and remote workforces; reducing or eliminating in-house IT complexity and costs to focus on core business needs; and leveraging the functionality and cost model of UCaaS solutions, particularly in light of many legacy on-premises solutions reaching end of life.
“The range of UCaaS options and technology bundles is expanding significantly,” said Elka Popova, Connected Work VP, Frost & Sullivan. “For mid-market buyers, the challenge now becomes to find the right mix of capabilities and select the right technology partner."
For UCaaS vendors, this means the channel is poised for incredible growth – if partners are ready for it. Not only do they have to be prepared from a staffing perspective, but they need to fully understand the latest trends and technologies that are going to help their end customers succeed.
Recognizing the growth opportunity that lies ahead, and its incumbent responsibility to educate its channel partners, Skyswitch has announced Vectors 2019, its annual user group conference, will take place at the Loews Sapphire Falls Resort in Orlando, Florida, October 27-30. The overarching goal of the fourth edition of Vectors is to provide its channel partners – MSPs, agents, interconnects, ISPs, WISPs and VARs – with the sales, marketing, and technical expertise to transform their businesses for a cloud communications market.
"Our annual Vectors conference has become the pinnacle of gatherings for over 400 SkySwitch resellers from across North America,” said SkySwitch's Vice President of Sales, Jayson Jones. “Vectors is the optimal place to share ideas, network, gain insight about new business communication trends and hear SkySwitch's development roadmap.”
The annual event will feature expert-led training sessions discussing market trends, the latest technologies, sales and marketing opportunities, and of course, the latest enhancements to the SkySwitch UCaaS platform, as well as exciting networking events and of three exciting keynoters:
- Telecom visionary, Vonage co-founder, and now Executive Vice Chairman at Skrumble, Jeff Pulver
- Sales training expert, CEO, President and Chief Antagonist at A Sales Guy, Keenan
- One of the telecom industry's leading analysts, Research Manager at IDC Communications Services, Amy Lind.
“Vectors is always an experience, but last year SkySwitch raised the bar,” said Abraham Lemmer, President of Compu-Phone Voice & Data, who attended Vectors 2018. “Nashville’s venue was amazing; the workshops were on target and informative to the full gamut of UCaaS partners. The lectures were inspirational and the networking kept us connected and growing all year.”
This year’s opening night welcome reception will be sponsored exclusively by Poly, Vectors’ 2019 title sponsor. Compliance Solutions, Inc. (CSI) will sponsor Vectors Annual Dinner Party the following evening, featuring a special musical guest.
Early-bird registration is available until August 15, 2019.
