In a commoditized market, like VoIP, where differentiation is through value-added services, the more relationships VoIP software providers have, the better. The math is simple – more relationships naturally translates into more business opportunities. Whether they turn into customers is an entirely different question.
But, for Brekeke, a new relationship with VoIP Innovations means its software will be in front of a new group of service providers – and also end customers, by extension. Brekeke’s SIP-based communications software has completed interoperability testing with SIP trunking origination and termination services from VoIP Innovations.
For its customers, that means Brekeke communications software users will have access to DIDs in more than 70 markets, and voice termination in more than 200 countries worldwide. Many businesses choose vanity numbers for branding purposes and to make customer engagement easier. They are also a way to reduce calling costs by leveraging termination in local markets to avoid international fees.
For VoIP Innovations customers, the relationship means more options for the VoIP software to better meet their needs. Its services – including origination, termination, E911, hosted billing, fraud detection, and more – are designed to work seamlessly with any PBX. That list now includes the Brekeke PBX and Brekeke SIP Server.
“Brekeke has been a key provider of SIP software to the VoIP Industry for many years and has continued to innovate to enable service provider customers to operate in high growth markets, such as Contact Center as a Service and Unified Communications as a Service,” said David Walsh, CEO of VoIP Innovations. “We are looking forward to expanding our cooperation with the Brekeke team to serve mutual customers around the globe.”
VoIP and SIP Trunking are by no means new technologies, but the underpin many of the business strategies and innovative solutions that are reshaping business models today. The evolution of VoIP and UC into a Future of Work that includes AI working side-by-side with humans will be only one of many business tech topics addresses at the #TechSuperShow in Ft.
