Channel Can Build on Dizzion Virtual Desktop

By Paula Bernier

Dizzion offers virtual desktop services for which its channel partners can enjoy healthy margins. But that’s just the tip of the iceberg, said Sean McCaffery, senior director of channel sales at the company. He added that desktop-as-a-service creates opportunities for channel partners to bring along a variety of complementary offerings like application delivery, secure endpoints, and storage.

The six-year-old company, whose heritage is in the cloud and colo space, works with agents, master agents, resellers, and subagents. It has relationships with channel partners including Avail Partners, Carrier Sales, Involta, ViaWest, and many others. Seventy percent of Dizzion’s business is driven through the channel. And the Denver-based company and its channel partners target the BPO, finance, healthcare, and insurance verticals, and Dizzion has the HIPPA and PCI compliance to enable them to do that.

Dizzion’s subscription-based services align with businesses’ move to the cloud and all the talk about unified communications, said McCaffery in a meeting yesterday with MSPToday. He added that Dizzion can take a softphone application and make sure the quality of service of it is the same as it would be over a normal network connection. That’s true whether it's a CRM application, Microsoft 365, or whatever, he added.

McCaffery also said that Dizzion has a channel-first mentality. The company looks for partners for deeper knowledge, coverage, and access, he said. Dizzion has an onboarding program, has dedicated one of its employees to enablement and training for the channel, and it’s adding formal online training to its portal.

In recent news from Dizzion, the company earlier this month announced its membership in the inContact inCloud Ecosystem. Through the effort, the companies will work on integrations and provide inContact customers easy access to Dizzion’s end user computing solutions.

“Our cloud-based end user computing solutions are the perfect complement to inContact’s service suite and will allow clients to take full advantage of the cloud for better efficiency, security, flexibility, and productivity,” said Dizzion CEO Steve Prather in announcing the news.
